this little 13" set from 1986 still works beautifully showing a video of our local station WDIV-TV from 1984. with no sound because i don't have a mic.
This is my 3rd Sharp Aquos 42inch TV - The first one had problems with the backlighting, the second one was delivered with a 6 - 8 inch scratch down the front and this is the 3rd - so far seen by two engineers, with various parts being changed..all in all leading to the TV being in the worst stat...

Model of this TV is LC-60C7450U but I've seen this on all current Sharp TVs. I ALMOST didn't buy this TV because of this issue, but after checking out the other options it was still the best for what I needed (mainly active 3D and PAL compatibility.) This is what happens every once in a while with my TV. Usually at the beginning it restarts couple of times, and then it's good for the rest of the night.
