Sophia the Italian greyhound has to work for the different forms of food she gets. Her primary food is a dog stew stuffed in a Kong. Secondary (less) food is given in kibble form and has to be worked out of a ball or "hunted" on the floor.
Spencer is a food motivated dog. Usually, his dinner is over in about 10 seconds. This video is his first time being fed with a food puzzle called a "Kibble Nibble". Food goes in, toy gets screwed shut, and doggie gets entertained and rewarded with food by playing with it.

This was just funny... who needs to buy an expensive food puzzle? This behavior was 100% offered, I did nothing to get her to do it. Be careful if you try this with your dog that you never leave them alone with this and if they get frustrated help your dog get it off!

Just a quick food puzzle I made for my dog, Luna, from a Naked-branded juice bottle. The contents are puppy chow (any small kibble will work), pupperoni bits, biscuit bits, and a spoonful of peanut butter. It has really helped so far with her eating slowly, eating more, and occupying her.
